I have studied portraiture, collage and abstract painting at the Art Student’s League, Sumi-e painting with Koho Yamamoto, paper making at the Deui Donne Paper Mill and sculpture, drawing and window display at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC.

The goal of my work is to emulate, translate and interpret Nature. I am endlessly fascinated by the earth’s beauty -- Her power, splendor, stillness, rawness, abstractness, Her seemingly irregularity and Her perfection. She is always moving and ever-changing, growing and evolving. I strive to emulate Her in all my undertakings.

My affinity for color and texture are evident in a body of work that shouts with life, urgency, anticipation and new beginnings.
