Ideas come to me during my meditation practice. I have often used an idea first done as an image on paper as a departure for a large painting - adapting the image to the different scale and materials.

Images come from life experiences, the death of my father, being in love with another, or what it feels like for me to be in deep meditation. These images are joyous and celebratory viewed through the lens of my spiritual practice.
