I
got interested in photography
when I wanted to remember the emotional effect of experiencing
a beautiful scene in nature. My work involved traveling on the
back roads, and I wanted to share my emotional encounters through
photos with my family and friends. My photos had such a positive
effect that I was motivated to continue to capture what I wanted
others to experience on film. I invested in a better camera
to improve my techniques hoping to give others a chance to experience
something they may not have ever experienced before. As
my skills improved, so did my range of photography; however, it
is my hope that all of my photos will convey a message and contribute
to the history of our great country and people.
I was able to photograph a varied array of wild animals as a volunteer
for the South Plains Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Lubbock,
TX. Some of the animals presented here were in rehabilitation,
and the proceeds from my photos were donated to the center. The
photos presented here are from Texas; however, their content is
representative of our beautiful world.
I wish to thank all my friends and family that have encouraged
me in the past...
